Response to COVID-19

Dear Stakeholders,

In response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the Calgary Fetal Alcohol Network (CFAN) is focusing on safeguarding the health and wellbeing of our staff, clients and partners. CFAN is taking direction from public health leaders to contain and slow the spread of COVID-19. Effective immediately CFANS’s offices have closed to the public, but CFAN remains open to serve our clients and partners.

Highlights of CFAN’s response:

  • CFAN staff is working remotely and continue to be available.

  • Our CFAN Network Engagement Facilitator is available for support at 403-681-2673 or by email at adann@mycfan.ca

  • All CFAN FASD training sessions have been suspended until further notice. We are exploring alternative methods to host training sessions and will communicate any updates.

  • We are working closely with our partner agencies on response plans and coordinating with other networks in the province.

  • We have created a COVID-19 resource page we will be updating regularly to assist stakeholders. The page is available here: https://www.mycfan.ca/covid19-information

The Calgary Fetal Alcohol Network’s plan is to limit impact on FASD services as much possible in Calgary and area, while maintaining health and safety and following all provincial and federal guidelines to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus.

Should you have any questions or concerns please contact CFAN at info@mycfan.ca for more information. We will continue to post updates on our Facebook page , via email communications and on our website, www.mycfan.ca.
